3) Fort Aguada

Fort Aguada has long history embedded in its walls and stones. Built by Portuguese in 17th century, to secure their hold in goa and to defend themselves against other powers, this fort provides panoramic view of sea and surrounding villages. It is located 18 km away from Panaji and situated on top of hill near River Mondovi.

This is the place where Dil Chahta Hai was shot. It is perfect place for selfies and stunning sunsets. It is a must visit if you are keen to know the rich history of goa. The fort is located 21.5 km away from Panaji and 700m from Vagator beach.

5) Baga beach

6) Basilica of Bom Jesus

This place is declared as UNESCO’s world heritage site and holds cultural and religious significance. Oldest church in goa and one of a kind in India, this church is work of magnificent art and exemplary architecture. This church was built in 1594 and marked the beginning of Christianity in India. It contains remains of St Francis Xavier who founded Society of Jesus. His remains are well-preserved in good condition.

7) Calangute Beach

Popularly known as ‘queen of beaches’ Calangute beach is a well- connected and vibrant beach of all. It is the longest beach of goa and always bustling with tourists and commercial activities. It is often chosen as a place to stay as it is well-connected to other beaches. At night the beach is vibrant with music and parties.

8) Fort Cabo de Rama

10) The church of our Lady Immaculate Conception

This church is in Panaji and frequently visited by many people and attracts devotees from all over the world. This church was built in 1541 and has undergone several renovations since. The gorgeous architecture of the church not only captivates the eye but also enhances human experience and imparts peace and tranquility.
